I'm Back! (again)

Well after oh so long, I'm back to the blog!
The break went very well, and God always shows Himself strong, strong in love, strong in favor towards us.
So now, not only did Christmas break go very well, but now that I'm back, I can tell you that every money "issue" that was there, has been taken care of, and God has shown me so much about Himself even while I was not going to Bible college! God is Good!

So, speaking of Good, here is a good teaching on Christ centered Worship!


Christ Centered Worship

Worship is not about music, it is about a heart attitude.

When we come to worship, we must know that we are loved, For God SO Loved the World…
Hebrews 12:2, God loves each of us as if we were the only one, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” What was the joy set before him? Us. How do we know? Because He already had everything else!
Romans 5:8 “But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” God’s love is not something we earn, God’s provision is not something we earn, God’s healing is not something we earn, we can’t earn anything from God. Here God is saying, “I’d rather die than live without you!” Is God’s love limited by how high you raise your hands in worship? No!

In order to have Christ Centered Worship we must know that we belong!
Galatians 4:4 “But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem those who were under the law…
A son or daughter knows that they belong, but a slave always has to work to belong, when I go home to PA I don’t think I’ll have to ask before I get a bowl of cereal in the morning. So rather than operating in a slave mentality, where I would have to work and ask and beg for my father to do anything or accept me, I live as a son, I have been accepted and I can’t be thrown out, my Father loves me and is always there.
If righteousness (Right standing with God) comes through the law (Through what you do to try to become right with God) then Christ died in VAIN!
The presence of God no longer comes From a cloud, the presence of God is in us! The Glory of God rises out of us, so when will we just let Him arise in us?
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving in your heart” The gate is your Will, if you let your will overcome you, then you won’t be entering those gates, but if you get your will together then you enter the courts with praise, that is your mind, and once you get two against one, then your emotions follow right along! THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE! I WILL BE GLAD AND REJOICE IN HIM!

A few little tips on Marriage from the "Your Home Can Survive the 21st Century"

Building that survivor family, keep the ‘in‘-laws OUT of it!
Take things to the Lord, not to someone that is outside of the marriage.
The Biggest thing is, that we are so self centered.
Marriage means change, you are going to have to compromise.
Life is made of two things, things that we get to do, and things that we have to do.
Listen, Observe, Verify, and  Express.

And then we are caught up to today, in that we have a class from Lawson Perdue on Heaven and Hell,

We Believe:
Scripture is Inspired Word of God
Jesus is the Son of God, He came, He died, He rose again, Appeared to the Believers, And is coming again.
One True God in three persons Father Son and Holy Spirit equally God together.
Salvation, being baptized by the Holy spirit into the Body of Christ
Water Baptism, being baptized by another believer
The return of Jesus Christ for His Church.
There is a Heaven, and there is a Hell!
But we don’t sell Fire insurance, we aren’t trying to scary you out of Hell, or to scare the Hell out of you!
But we do ourselves a disservice if we don’t teach a basic foundation for why we believe these things.
“It is done, I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: Which is the second death.
If you are born again you have reason to rejoice!

So as you can see, since I've been back, school has also been VERY good!
