How do you know if your are still living in the realm of guilt?
Genesis 3:9-10 “And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said to them, “where are you?” And he said, I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.”
If there is fear, the root of that fear is sin consciousness, you are not feeling right with God, so you have fear.
Acts 17:22-23 “Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said “Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious;”
To be superstitious, highly religious, is a manifestation of not knowing God and still having a root of sin consciousness.
Titus 1:15, “Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”
Those who are under sin consciousness still will always be critical, they will always be the ones saying, “touch not, taste not, look not”
2 Corinthians 3:5-6 “our sufficiency is of God not of ourselves, God made us able ministers.” if you are dealing with “oh I’m not good enough” then you are still dealing with the sin consciousness! If you see yourself as ill-equipped, then you need to understand Gods love for you.
Ephesians 1:6 “he has made us accepted in the beloved.” there is not reason to count things as impure, you are worthy, you are accepted by God!
Identifying with weakness is dealing with sin consciousness! The person that is walking in the full revelation of the righteousness, love and peace of God, is walking in happiness, peace, joy, and are well rounded people! But those walking in fear, weakness, and unworthiness are still under a sin consciousness.
You can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you!
Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy He has saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.”
Galatians 2:16 “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no man be justified.”
1 Corinthians 8:6-7 fear of other pretend or supposed Gods, or superstitions, the number 666, walking under a ladder, all those superstitions, the fear of them is a show of the root of sin consciousness in your life.
1 Timothy 4:1-2 “Now the spirit speaks expressly that in the end times some shall depart from the faith… speaking lies in hypocrisy having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.”
The grace of God sets you free from sin, not free to sin.
