Healing, its about time!

And here is the class we have all been waiting for all year!
And yes, we all love is so far!

Barry Bennett-Healing Lesson 1

Luke 4:18-19
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Luke 9:11 “But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.”
Acts 8:5 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the Multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For Unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.”
Jesus and those at the beginning did not preach healing, they preached the kingdom of God, they preached the resurrection of Jesus Christ and people got healed!
2 Corinthians “For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power”
If you are talking about the kingdom of God, then where is the power of it, the power in your ministry?
Romans 2:4 “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not know that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?”
God does not use sickness to draw you to Him, you might use it, but He does not need it, He has the Cross, and all sickness was put on that cross.
Genesis 1:31 “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
It was VERY good! There was no sickness, no sin, and no death, if there had never been any sin, then Adam and Eve still would be here! (I wouldn’t be going into the ministry, there wouldn’t be the need)
Acts 10:38 “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” If God is somewhere then who He is will be there, God is our healing, so if God is there, then healing is there. God is with us. He healed all who came to Him without exception, he never made anyone sick nor left anyone sick that came to Him! He came to do the will of God, and He healed ALL who were oppressed of the devil, that is the will of God.
Revelation 22:1-2 “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month, The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
God is in healing, He is always making provision for healing, you see, what you have been dealing with has been robbing you of God’s will, and you don’t have to deal with that any longer, His will for your life is healing, 100% no returns, no fees, no trade backs.
Mark 1:39 “And He was preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons. Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “if you are willing, you can make me clean.” The Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to Him, “I am willing; be clean”” He is willing, He is no respecter of persons, He does not show favoritism, He did not go around looking for lepers either, they came to Him, don’t just “wait” on your healing, go to Him, ask, and receive. If it was good enough for that leper, it is good enough for you!
Mark 5:22- “And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet and begged Him earnestly, saying, ‘my little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live’ (WHAT FAITH! He said exactly what would happen, he didn’t doubt in the way he spoke. He set the criteria for his daughter’s healing) So Jesus went with Him…” then the woman with the blood issue came and touched Him, saying to herself, ‘if only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.’ and immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. So Jesus knew that power had gone out of him, and asked who touched my clothes? He didn’t know, there were a lot of people-his disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and you say, ‘who touched me?’ then when he saw her, he said to her, ‘daughter, (her faith not his) your faith has made you well.’ But then, when someone came and said, don’t bother the teacher, your daughter is dead. AS SOON AS Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” stand on that, don’t speak out your fears. And the man’s daughter ended up being raised up, alive and well.

And lastly, I do plan on taking good notes on all of this class, that way you will get all you need to get, and I wont forget what I don't want to forget!
