Lawson Perdue-Covenants Romans Lesson 7
The Blood Covenant
Romans 12, Present your Bodies, as living sacrifices, not just “be saved” but be a living sacrifice.
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, this is changing from seeing you through your own eyes to seeing you the way you Truly are, the way God sees you, seeing the way that the Bible says we are.
That you may prove what the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, that we walk out this will, this plan of God for our lives.
When we are baptized in the holy Spirit, the ministry that is inside of us is full grown, but we have yet to see it happen. People build from their position of strength, find what you are most fruitful in and build from there, the more you pile on there, eventually it will overflow into other areas of your life and they will all grow.
A person who is gifted in teaching will take something that is hard and make it simple.
Romans 13
All about Government, it is the responsibility of Godly Government to administrate good, if they are not going with the word of God, then they are not Godly Government, and you don’t have to be under those laws which go against God.
Use wisdom with finances, lend and borrow with wisdom. “Owe no man anything” is in the context of love, owe no man payback, only owe love, walk in love, for love is the fulfillment of the law.
Righteous life is not a result of righteous living, righteous living is a result of a righteous life!
Put on the armor of light, walk in the light, be see through, walk in truth and have no place to be condemned. Walk honestly. Have nothing to hide.
Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not make provision for the flesh, Provision means; forethought, plans, premeditation, if you will control your thought life you will control where you go! If you are constantly thinking of sin, then you will live in sin, if you are keeping your mind clear and taking captive every thought and making it captive to Christ, then you will not be living in sin!
And... some of yesterday's....
Andrew Wommack-A sure foundation II Lesson 2
Spirit soul and Body,
Soul is the deciding factor whether you go with spirit or Body.
Soul is valve that can block or release what’s in your spirit.
Renewing your mind is the key.
Ephesians 4:24 “And that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
If you are born again then you have this new man put on, and this new man was created according to God, in true Righteousness and Holiness, this leaves room for some not true righteousness and holiness, this is known as self righteousness.
Your new man, in the spirit, is as righteous as Jesus!
God doesn’t give you a little bit of joy, then come and take it away!
Your spirit never loses its relationship with God.
Doesn’t matter if you sin, your spirit is still perfect before God.
You can acknowledge the fact that you sin, and then repent and turn from it, close that door that you opened to the devil, and keep going! Keep living, you are filled with the spirit of God!
So what if we are born again and then you sin? Ephesians 1:13, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, you are sealed. You think anything is going to get by the Spirit of God?
After you believed, you were sealed.
Sin takes place in body or soul, but not in your spirit.
If you are born again then you have the spirit of Christ living in you, if you say your don’t have the Spirit of Christ living in you, then you should get born again!
1 John 4:17 “…as He is, so are we in this world.”
If you saw yourself as righteous and holy in Christ, then you would live a more holy and righteous life accidentally than you ever did on purpose! As you see yourself, as you think in your heart, so are you, if you see yourself as an old sinner just saved by grace, then you will live as an old sinner…. That just happens to be saved by grace.
Romans 6:16, if you yield to sin, you will be a servant to sickness and death. Not in your spirit, but in your soul and body.
If we got what we deserved, then we would all go to Hell, no one is good enough, but Jesus is, and He is in us, and He has sealed us with the Holy Spirit of promise.
We are as He is on this earth.
He who unites himself with the Lord is one with Him is Spirit, one, in the sense of singular, identical, one, not separate, no longer you that lives, but Christ living in you, its not just you with just a little bit of life in you, you have it all! Colossians 2:9 The Fullness of the Godhead bodily!
Hope it was enjoyed! now more note taking! see you tomorrow!
