Hey I may have missed yesterday, but I got the notes... hope you don't mind the extra long title!

Going to make it short and sweet, as can be, this is a lot of stuff, in the news first though... I am waking up at 6am Saturday (tomorrow) morning to get to Chic-Fil-A by 7am to start training, exciting enough! I will soon have 30 letters sent out for the mission fundraiser, and the last 20 hopefully will get out as well, I will get them out to every address I have! By the 4th. In other news, I'm not perfect, just like I still drop balls while juggling, I still mess up in life, but just like I pick the balls back up and start again and do better than before, I pick it back up and keep going, using it all to do better next time.

So yesterdays classes.. couple with Wendell Parr first... I think... well anyways, here goes...........

Wendell Parr-Holy Spirit II Lesson 2

Luke 11:9-13 “How much more will your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to those that as Him?”
God will give you the Holy Spirit, you aren’t going to get the wrong spirit! This is the Holy Spirit, He is good!
You didn’t get it all when you were born again, it says, heavenly father, not heavenly God that is not yet your father, you must be born again before you can receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and if you have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit then you have not received, though He is with you, you have not received that power.
Before you pray for anyone you need to establish where they are, in Christ? Already baptized in the Holy Spirit? Need to know. People get upset when you ask them? Well then maybe you SHOULD be wondering if they are or not!
Jesus said that He would send the Spirit of truth that the world can not receive.
If someone knows what the experience is but not anything about what the Word of God says about it then how are they to share it with others? “Oh I’ve had this awesome experience!” “yes but is it biblical?” Before you share you have to know for yourself!
We need to become VERY familiar with these scriptures! (I will be doing this very soon)

Know that you are worthy to receive--

Know that, as a believer, when you receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, it will rise up from within you.
To say that “He fell on them” may be true, but He was already there, he is “omnipresent” big word for everywhere at once.

Spirit in you=a well=life for you
Spirit flowing out=a river=brings life to others

Many different people have many different ideas as to why we don’t need, already have, wont get, or whatever about the Holy Spirit.

“I already have the Spirit” -Romans 8:9
John 14:16-17 The one that the World cannot receive… meaning you can’t until you are born again…but once you are you need to!
Acts 19:2,6
Acts 8:5,12,14,15,17

“I’ve already been baptized by the Spirit” -1 Cor. 12:13

Sin is deadly, emotional, and Stupid!
Reasons we don’t sin, we are dead to it, we are free from it, and we don’t want it.
Legalism and religion are just about law, we are free from the law.
Romans 8 talks about life in the Spirit, now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Walking by the laws of faith, and love, and in the life of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
When you pray in the Holy Spirit your faith gets built up by keeping you in the love of God.
V31 What shall we say to these things? If God is for us then who can be against us? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect?
Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, and has risen again.
Who shall separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus? Nothing.
Neither death, nor life, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature.
If you don’t have a revelation of the love of God it takes the Holy Spirit to give you a revelation of the Love of God.
You receive righteousness by faith and in no other way!
Romans 9:32 not by faith…
Jesus didn’t do any sin to be counted sin, and in the same way, we have done no righteousness to be counted righteousness, but have been counted righteous by faith.
Righteousness on you own, legalism, religion, is like running on a treadmill, you may be running VERY fast and VERY hard, but it doesn’t matter how hard or fast you run, you aren’t going anywhere!
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
No man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident, the just shall live by faith.
All you need to do is believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord!
You confessing does not make Jesus lord! Jesus is already Lord! When you confess it, it becomes a part of your life and you can live with the benefits of it!
When we say what the Word of God says we are not trying to twist God’s arm, we are just agreeing with what God already has said! What God has already done! If you are born again you are blessed! You need to notify your brain about what happened in your spirit! This guy uses a lot of exclamation points!
Jesus already provided righteousness in His death and resurrection, He already provided everything you need in your life.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? You aren’t going to call on someone who you don’t believe is going to answer! And how can anyone call on someone they don’t know? And how will they ever know if they don’t hear?
You think Jesus was poor? Jesus is in heaven with God! God uses gold to pave the streets! Diamonds to lay the foundations of His walls!
God is good to us, we are His kids.
