Anyways, life is good, today I went to see Toy Story 3, And I was blessed, I got into the theater and the projector apparently was broken! So, they refunded my money 100%, and they gave me 4 free passes! (Dollar Theater by the way)
Also, last couple of days, food has been just given to me, or paid for or whatever, just taken care of, a reminder that those who trust in the Lord will Never be put to shame!
And continuing on that same note, today Lawson Perdue talked about the Blessings of the Covenant! (Yes, there were curses as well for certain things, but Jesus took those, we don't have to!)

Blessings of the Covenant.
We read not just the blessings, but the curses also so that we can see what we have been redeemed from!
Deuteronomy 28-blessings and curses of the law
Listen to the voice of God and obey and you will be set on high, the blessings will come on you and overtake you.
Blessed in the city and in the field, in your store, coming in and going out, your enemies will be destroyed before you, all the people of the earth will see that you have been called of the Lord and they will be afraid of you. Rain in its season, and you will lend to many and will not borrow. You will be above and not beneath, the head and not the tail.
Not one person could receive these besides Jesus because no one ever kept them all but Him! But we are not receiving based on our performance! We receive based on His performance! So all of them are for us! And we have been redeemed from the curse! (which by the way, was over all people that were under the law because they all broke the law, that is besides Jesus)
You try to live under the law and not under the blessings, and God will let you, but you DON’T HAVE TO!
Lets do this, read the blessings, are those all things you would like to have and live with in your life? Ok, now read the curses, do those sound BETTER? So why live with them? We are no longer under the law but under grace, not fear, but love, not sin, but God. We are redeemed from the curse!
Deuteronomy 8:7 a good land, plenty of food, good stones, metals, and the good things He has given you will cause you to bless Him.
Oh, and its not “if He brings you into the promise land” it is “WHEN He brings you in.” It WILL happen, faith is just believing that it is when and not if. Faith isn’t a question, it’s the answer, we are not the sick trying to get well, we are the well staying well and standing on what God has promised.

How do we begin to learn to trust God?
Romans 12:1-3 Offer your bodies as living sacrifices, and be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

James 1:22 But be doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving yours own self.
Romans 12:5 “We are part of one body and every one members of another.” Begin to associate with people of faith.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. They Cannot share the agapao love of God!
Romans 10:17 “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” Faith always originates (the God kind) in God’s word. We start to become people who step out and walk the walk of God. The Spirit filled life is not found in a carnal fleshy life and in those ways. The word of God begins as a seed that is planted in out hearts and is watered by hanging around with people who are like minded. Our minds are made new through our own study and personal time with God. We may not always understand everything we read, but we should always believe it, no matter what we think. It is not just sitting around believing God for things, God takes care of us as long as our goal in life is to get Him, not the stuff. You don’t get married to someone just because they can cook and clean and DO all these things, its because of something you see in them, who they are, not what they do. You love them no matter what they do.
The whole thing is building that relationship with God and letting it pour into the rest of your life. You don’t change other people with the word of God, you change yourself, and let your example show what is right even if they are not looking for it.
God’s word Always brings revelation, we meditate on it, think about it, mull over it, chew it up, and study before and after it, and we will receive revelation more and more.
Love is patient, long suffering, am I patient? Patience, if you are not patient then you are not loving. We have to learn to be patient.

Dan Funkhouser-What Faith Is And How To Live By It! Lesson 3
Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.
Faith is what you say and believe, your hope and trust in God and the evidence becoming real in your own heart.
We have our minds transformed and conformed to God’s way of thinking, we get God’s mind on it by reading and meditating on His word.
God is not I WAS, God is not I WILL BE, God is I AM, He is present tense always, He is with us always, always the I AM with you.
Who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.- 1 Corinthians 2:16 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 2:5
“Let” this means our permission is required, we say, “yes God I will follow you and think your thoughts.”
How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to your word.
With my whole heart have I sought you…
The word of God brings understanding to us, clarity.
If we didn’t see Jesus going around healing people and casting out demons and raising the dead, we would NEVER even think of doing those things!!! If Jesus did it then… what is wrong with it?
If Jesus said that we will speak in new tongues, then what is wrong with it?
oooh... I like that one! Haha, Dan is a good teacher!
So, God has blessed, walk in His blessings, and do not forget His benefits! Remind yourself! Build yourself up in your faith by reading back over them, what God has promised... is He a man that He should lie? No, whatever He has promised is true and will come to pass.
